Automated STR-based human identification

The IntegenX by Thermo Fisher Scientific RapidHIT System is the first fully-automated, sample-to-answer system for STR-based human identification. RapidHIT is available to forensic scientists in booking stations, laboratories, and in the field home or abroad.

The self-contained human identification system produces standardized DNA profiles from buccal swabs and other human samples in under two hours. Requiring only three minutes of hands-on time to generate up to eight DNA profiles in one run, the easy-to-use system fits into any forensic workflow. The RapidHIT system uses NDIS-approved Applied Biosystems GlobalFiler Express chemistry, and the output from the system is compatible with local, state and national human identification databases.
